Office 1 announces 2006 entry in Slovenia

OFFICE 1 SUPERSTORES INTERNATIONAL Inc. today announced the forthcoming introduction of office product superstores in Slovenia.

The Slovenian master franchisee, Vele d.d. is a subsidiary of Tus, one of the largest chains of stores in Slovenia with a wide range of activities covering wholesale, distribution centers, entertainment centers and retail shopping malls as well as some 228 supermarkets varying in size between 800m2 to 3000m2 and six cash and carry superstores.

In 2005, Tus was named fastest growing company in Slovenia for the second time from a group of 500 companies. OFFICE 1 Slovenia will launch in May with three superstores opening quasi simultaneously.

Andrej Andoljsek, President of the Board of Vele commented as follows:
“The addition of OFFICE 1 will expand our consumer oriented activities in stationery into B to B and direct sales through catalogs and direct mail. We also expect to benefit from the combined purchasing power of OFFICE 1 in neighboring countries in Central and Eastern Europe".
